Tipping Terms

By accessing or participating in Tipping on NetballHub ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Tipping Terms"), our general Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not participate in Tipping.

These Tipping Terms apply to all rounds, competitions, and leagues within the Tipping game mode. NetballHub reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

To participate in Tipping, you must:

• Hold a valid, active NetballHub account
• Be at least 13 years of age (users aged 13–17 require parental or guardian consent)
• Be a resident of Australia or New Zealand, or accessing the Platform lawfully from your jurisdiction
• Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction regarding online gaming and fantasy sports

Tipping is a round-by-round prediction competition tied to the Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) season. Each round, participants predict the winner of each scheduled match and attempt to accumulate the highest number of correct tips over the season.

Round Structure

• A new tipping round opens following the conclusion of the previous SSN round
• Tips lock at the scheduled tip-off of each individual match
• Results are calculated and published as match data becomes available, typically within 24 hours of the final match of the round
• Participants may change their tips for any match up until that match's lock time

Season

The Tipping season runs in parallel with the official Suncorp Super Netball regular season. Finals rounds may be included at NetballHub's discretion and will be announced via the Platform and our communication channels ahead of time.

Each round, participants must submit their predictions in accordance with the following rules:

Tip Requirements

• You must select a predicted winner for each match in the round
• Each round features a margin match — you predict the winning margin (in goals) for a selected match
• Tips can be changed at any time before the individual match locks

Auto-Tipping

• If you do not submit tips for a match before it locks, a randomised auto-tip will be applied
• Auto-tipped matches will award a maximum of 2 correct tips for that round
• If no margin is submitted, the platform will automatically assign one for you

Your score is determined by the number of correct tips you make each round:

• 1 point is awarded for each correct tip
• Your total points are the sum of all correct tips across the season

Result Tiles

After each round, your results are displayed using the following indicators:

• Correct — your tip matched the actual result
• Incorrect — your tip did not match the actual result
• Draw — the match ended in a draw (all participants receive 1 point)

In addition to the global Tipping leaderboard, participants may join or create private leagues.

Private Leagues

• Any registered user may create a private league and invite others via a unique join code
• League administrators are responsible for ensuring their league is used in accordance with these terms
• NetballHub reserves the right to dissolve leagues that breach these terms or our community guidelines

Global Leaderboard

• All participating accounts are automatically entered into the global season-long leaderboard
• Your username and round/season scores will be publicly visible on the leaderboard
• You cannot opt out of participating in the overall competition

Tipping is currently a free-to-play competition. NetballHub may, at its sole discretion, offer prizes, rewards, or recognition to high-performing participants.

Prize Conditions

• Any prizes offered will be communicated on the Platform with specific terms applicable to that prize
• Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent unless otherwise stated
• Winners must be contactable via their registered email address within 14 days of notification or the prize will be forfeited
• NetballHub reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to have breached these terms, including those who have manipulated scores or used multiple accounts

Match results are sourced from official SSN data feeds. NetballHub endeavours to publish accurate results as promptly as possible following each match.

• Results are provisional until officially confirmed and may be subject to minor corrections
• NetballHub will notify users of any significant result corrections via the Platform
• NetballHub does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of match results and is not liable for losses arising from data delays or errors originating with SSN or third-party providers

In the event that a match is postponed or cancelled:

• If the match is rescheduled within the same round, tips will carry over to the rescheduled date
• If the match is cancelled or rescheduled to a different round, all tips for that match will be voided and no points awarded
• NetballHub will communicate any changes to the round structure via the Platform

NetballHub is committed to maintaining a fair and respectful competition. You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts for the purpose of gaining a competitive advantage
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform or submit tips
• Attempt to manipulate the scoring system, leaderboard, or data feeds
• Share or sell access to your account
• Engage in harassment, abuse, or unsporting conduct toward other participants via Platform features such as leagues or community channels
• Exploit bugs or technical errors; any known exploit must be reported to us at support@netballhub.com

Violations of fair play standards may result in score forfeiture, prize disqualification, suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform.

Tipping is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• NetballHub makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Platform or match results
• NetballHub is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in Tipping, including but not limited to score discrepancies, data errors, or Platform outages
• NetballHub reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or alter any round or the season at any time, including due to SSN schedule changes, data provider issues, or unforeseen circumstances
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law

NetballHub may update these Tipping Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 7 days before taking effect, where practicable. Minor clarifications may be made without notice.

Your continued participation following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
